BPM Mobile - Date format

Can anyone please assist on how to change the format of the dates on a BPMMobile form from MM/DD/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY. I have checked that regional/local settings of the PLC are set correctly, which they are.

 

When I open up the form through the standard URL the format is as expected (DD/MM/YYYY), yet through BPMMobile it is MM/DD/YYYY.

What browser/device combination are you using to access the mobile web site?  What language/locale is the browser or device set to use?

The solution is designed to run on an IPad . We havevtested the solution on a Windows 7 PC congifured for Uk with IE8 by running BPMMobile. The dates on both the iPad and PC are showing through BPMMobile as MMDDYY. If we test the solution through the standard URL from the same PC the dates are formatted as expected

The mobile client does not currently support the region subtag.  I am checking to see if I can supply you with a workaround for this.

Perhaps have a mobile version of the form that displays the date as a character field or label which you can format as you desire?

Thanks for the suggestion - I have tried that and whilst this works for displaying dates entered it does not resolve the issue when actually entering dates. Plus I cannot find a way to change the web.config to change the format of the date from MM/DD/YYYY
